Pay is at $23/hour.
The Driver safely operates the delivery vehicle, and follows designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely, organized manner. The driver is responsible for physically unloading product from the truck and moving product into customer locations.

The Driver safely operates the delivery vehicle, and follows designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely, organized manner. The driver is responsible for physically unloading product from the truck and moving product into customer locations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck, driving various routes during business hours
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes on a daily basis
- Follow specific delivery routes and time schedule to meet customer delivery requirements
- Load and unload a delivery vehicle using hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift gates
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customer contacts at each delivery site
- Collect payments from customers in the form of cash or check. Obtain clear, legible signatures on all invoices and credit memos
- Learn use of DEX
- Understand and comply with DOT regulations.
- Complete driver medical certification every two years
- Handle all products with care to avoid damage and loss
- Maintain positive work relations; support teamwork and help coworkers to accomplish team goals
- Listen and communicate respectfully with employees at all levels within the organization
- Attendance: Maintain regular attendance and follow call out and time off procedures as outlined in the handbook.
- Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
Requirements
- Prior work as a delivery driver of, at minimum, a 24-ft commercial box truck.
- Experience driving a box truck throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania New York and the outer-boroughs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, minimum of Class D
- Acceptable driving record as defined by our insurance policy, with no major violations
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Time management; Ability to handle multiple demands and work to meet deadlines
- Dependability; Exhibit a reliable and consistent work ethic
- Punctuality; arrive on time to work to dispatch at required time.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible and to adapt to quickly changing conditions.
