Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Work within the production schedule to perform all scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments, as required.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.
• Report faulty operations/defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the Facilities Manager and applicable Department Supervisor(s).
• If assigned, perform routine inspections and maintenance on all company trucks, forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Rotate as ‘on-call’ maintenance technician as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Production Manager and/or Facilities Manager.
• Assist with the transport of product as necessary.
• Follow all AS9100 policies and procedures, OSHA safety regulations, and company safety policies.
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident required (sponsorship will not be provided for this position).
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Trade school certification/education is preferred.
• Prefer 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Perfect attendance.
• Positive attitude.
• Must be detail-oriented and follow provided instructions.
• Must have dexterity to handle small parts with care.
• Must have experience working with electrical, specifically 480V.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have a clean driving record and able to procure a ‘For Hire’ license within 60 days of employment.
• Prior experience reading and making blueprints is a plus.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• All employment at IBC is conditional upon results from background and drug testing.
