IBC Advanced Alloys, Casting Division is seeking Foundry Production Specialist to join our casting team. IBC Advanced Alloys is a nonferrous alloys foundry specializing in unique copper alloys.
This is an hourly position in a foundry environment. Candidates must be flexible, as production dictates with some scheduled overtime as required. Candidates must be capable of working in a high heat, heavy production manufacturing environment.

Requirements and Responsibilities: Job Requirements and responsibilities for qualified candidates are as follows:
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience, foundry experience is preferred.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Must exhibit the ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment as needed such as: Respirators, protective clothing and footwear, safety glasses or goggles, gloves, etc.
- Participation in OSHA required annual physical examinations such as Respirator Fit Testing is required.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions provided in English.
- Must have a strong commitment to job Safety and job quality and play an active role in supporting the Company’s efforts to maintain a Safe Work Place.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and 80 pounds occasionally.
- Must be capable of standing and walking for up to 10 hours daily.
- Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have the ability to perform in a manufacturing environment associated with high activity and tight deadlines.
Additional desirable workplace skills should include but not be limited to the following:
- Ability to drive fork truck - Proof of previous training and experience is a plus.
- Experience with basic computer programs such as Word and Excel
- Experience with metal sampling and spectrometer use
- Experience with charge calculations and other mathematical analyses
- Experience with induction furnaces and power supplies
