Personal Executive Assistant — Part-Time
I am seeking a highly organized, proactive, dependable, and resourceful Personal Executive Assistant to provide ongoing support with managing my personal and professional responsibilities, goals, projects, and day-to-day organization.
This position is ideal for someone who naturally enjoys creating structure, staying ahead of deadlines, solving problems, conducting research, and helping another person turn their goals into actionable plans.
This is not primarily an errand-running position. The main focus is organization, planning, accountability, communication, research, and helping ensure that important tasks and goals are consistently followed through.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize my personal and professional calendar
- Help prioritize tasks, deadlines, appointments, and upcoming commitments
- Create weekly and monthly action plans based on my goals and priorities
- Break larger goals and projects into manageable steps with realistic deadlines
- Keep track of outstanding tasks and follow up to ensure they are completed
- Provide accountability and regular check-ins to help me stay on track
- Make phone calls and communicate with businesses, service providers, offices, and other contacts on my behalf when appropriate
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Research companies, services, products, opportunities, and other topics as needed
- Compare options, pricing, reviews, and other relevant information and provide organized recommendations
- Assist with finding, contacting, and coordinating service providers
- Request quotes and gather information from businesses
- Help coordinate projects from beginning to completion
- Assist with basic budgeting, expense organization, and financial planning
- Keep organized records of important information, deadlines, contacts, and ongoing projects
- Identify tasks that may need attention and proactively bring them to my attention
- Help prevent important responsibilities from being forgotten or falling behind
- Provide weekly progress updates and identify priorities for the upcoming week
- Handle other administrative and organizational responsibilities as needed

What I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone who can become a reliable right-hand person and help me stay organized and focused on my goals.
I don't expect the assistant to simply wait for me to provide a list of instructions. I value someone who can look at what needs to be accomplished, help determine the appropriate next steps, keep track of progress, and communicate with me about what needs my attention.
The ability to think independently, prioritize, follow through, and proactively identify what needs to be done is extremely important for this position.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, initially approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours as the working relationship develops.
Some responsibilities can be completed remotely, while occasional in-person meetings may be helpful depending on the task.
Compensation
$23–$30 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
Experience as an executive assistant, personal assistant, administrative assistant, project coordinator, office manager, or similar organizational role is preferred but not required.
The most important qualities are organization, initiative, reliability, discretion, communication, and the ability to follow through.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
