IBAM are working on behalf of a regulated manufacturing organisation to recruit a Production Supervisor (Night Shift) to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations within a high-volume, controlled production environment.
This role is responsible for overseeing people, processes, and equipment on shift, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and documentation. It’s well suited to a hands-on manufacturing leader who is confident making real-time decisions on the production floor and developing hourly teams in a structured environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities on the assigned night shift, with full accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and team performance
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety programmes, regulatory requirements, and approved operating procedures
- Execute production plans to meet schedule commitments and optimise labour and equipment utilisation
- Monitor production performance and proactively address operational disruptions or deviations
- Oversee manufacturing system and inventory transactions to ensure data accuracy and process compliance
- Investigate production discrepancies and partner with Quality on root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support technical, experimental, and validation activities involving equipment and facilities
- Monitor equipment and facility conditions, initiating and following up on maintenance actions as required
- Pause or stop production when product integrity, process control, or employee safety is at risk
- Author, review, and revise operating procedures and production records
- Train, coach, and develop operators and group leaders to ensure continuity of supervision
- Support hiring activities, staffing levels, attendance, and shift scheduling in line with production needs
- Promote a fair, compliant, and engaged working environment
What we’re looking for:
One of the following experience profiles:
- Associate’s degree with 4 years’ manufacturing experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ manufacturing experience
- 7 years’ progressive manufacturing experience without a degree
- Experience working in a regulated or highly controlled manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop hourly production teams
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Comfortable using production, inventory, and standard computer systems
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work nights and adjust schedules based on operational needs
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
