What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Safety - Security - BK position at IB Parks and Entertainment?
Ensure the safety and security of the Guests, Team Members, and property, while providing excellent Guest services and maintaining safe practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Act as an information hub for the Park, being first line of defense and communication liaison, while delivering Guest Excellence.
▪ Maintain constant attention and focus on Guests, Team Members, and surroundings.
▪ Communicate via two-way radios and telephone.
▪ Maintain documentation of records to include but not be limited to attraction down events, throughput, first aid
and security calls/reports, lost and found.
▪ Execute emergency procedures, primarily through primary communication liaison as necessary.
▪ Provide support to Park leadership personnel, safety, security, and outside EMS.
▪ Execute internal and external loss prevention efforts through monitoring of surveillance video.
▪ Maintain Park cleanliness standard.
▪ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
▪ Ability to read, write and speak in English, and understand operations manuals.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
▪ Law Enforcement Experience preferred.
▪ Must have valid SORA Card.
▪ Armed Security only must have valid Carry Permit
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
▪ High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
▪ Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
▪ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in all types of extreme weather
▪ Ability to climb, kneel, bend, push, pull and reach above shoulder
▪ Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations
▪ Must be able to lift and carry at least 10 pounds.
▪ Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays as required.
