What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Technician - BK position at IB Parks and Entertainment?
The Pool Technician is responsible for treating and maintaining pools and waterways.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Maintain cleanliness and organization Pump rooms
▪ Ensure preventive maintenance schedule is completed in accordance to Facilities Manager guidelines.
▪ Ensure pool chemistry is maintained in accordance with local bather code.
▪ Backwash pools when needed.
▪ Maintain inventory controls of pool chemicals and testing chemicals.
▪ Diagnose and repair chemical feeders.
▪ Diagnose and repair chemical probes and controllers.
▪ Maintain cleanliness of pools.
▪ Ensure pools are tested and logged in accordance to local bather code.
▪ Maintain records and documentation.
▪ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
▪ At least one-year related work experience.
▪ Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
▪ Must be detail oriented.
▪ Proficient with MS Office software.
▪ Proficient in English.
▪ Certified Pool Technician or equivalent.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
▪ High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
▪ Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
▪ Ability to withstand a variety of indoor environmental conditions.
▪ Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
