What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPSW EMT Paramedic position at IB Parks and Entertainment?
Basic Function
The purpose of this position is to provide care and respond to all EMS and First Aid needs for park Guests and employees and to ensure quality patient care through EMS and First Aid Guidelines.
Specific Responsibilities
• Provide treatment for park Guests and employees.
• Interact with Guests providing directions and assistance.
• Protect employees, Guests, and company property.
• Enforce park policies.
• Rapidly respond to emergency situations.
• Assist with crowd control.
• Monitor all areas for safety hazards.
• Write detailed treatment and incident reports.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Certified EMT or Licensed Paramedic designation.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads.
• Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and utmost level of confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Enforce all park policies and procedures.
