The Regional Business Leader is responsible for driving business growth, operational performance, and strategic execution across a defined geographic region. Leads cross-functional teams spanning sales, service, and operations to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and deliver strong customer satisfaction.
Develops and implements regional business strategies aligned with overall company objectives, identifying new market opportunities and strengthening key customer relationships. Oversees financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability, while ensuring efficient resource allocation and operational excellence.
Acts as the primary leadership point of contact within the region, fostering a high-performance culture, developing talent, and ensuring alignment with corporate standards, policies, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales Leadership
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting accuracy, and performance metrics Lead and execute regional business strategy to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
- Manage full responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Drive sales and market expansion through key account management, pipeline development, and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee daily operations across the region to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, develop, and coach cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Identify new market opportunities and respond to competitive and industry trends.
- Ensure alignment with corporate objectives, policies, and compliance standards.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business performance.
- Serve as the on-site leader for the Wisconsin location.
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational execution (delivery, quality, timelines)
- Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Manage site-level performance metrics (revenue, margin, on-time delivery, inventory, etc.)
- Support workforce planning, hiring, and employee development
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent customer experience across all interactions
- Act as escalation point for key customer issues and drive resolution
- Align technical solutions with customer needs in collaboration with engineering and product teams
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to align on growth initiatives
- Support company-wide programs including new product launches, system implementations, and process improvements
- Champion CAS/iAutomation culture, leadership expectations, and employee engagement initiatives
- Up to 50% travel, a mix of local and overnight travel required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 7–12 years of experience in industrial automation, distribution, or manufacturing
- Proven success in sales leadership and/or general management roles
- Experience managing both commercial and operational responsibilities is strongly preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth
- Leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Operational mindset with ability to connect sales strategy to execution
- Financial acumen, P&L ownership and margin management
