Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to assigned staff by leading organizational change; developing and empowering staff; cultivating relationships; putting staff in a position to succeed, meeting their personal career goals while also achieving organizational goals; building effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals; driving engagement and creating a climate where staff are motivated to do their best.
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting and ongoing feedback.
- Oversees training and quality product output of account management staff.
- Use metrics to monitor daily workloads, prioritize assignments and ensure internal and vendor service level agreements (SLAs) are met; investigate and resolve abnormalities.
- Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Associates degree required/Bachelors degree preferred and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of Underwriting Support Processes and Procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
- Ability to work throughout the organization at different levels.
- Solid technical background with hands on experience in rating and policy issuance platforms, as well as system testing
- Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings.
- To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.
