The Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Public Outreach Specialist (Community Outreach & Environmental Education Specialist 3) position. This position will be located in our Central Regional Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA.
We are looking for a confident, energetic, passionate communications professional who will serve as lead coordinator for education and outreach efforts related to legacy pesticide pollution. This lead and arsenic contamination is widespread throughout Central Washington. You will get to work with educators and health professionals through the region to increase community engagement around this issue.
