Location: Lebanon, OH
Schedule: 7AM-3PM 40hrs
General Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for compiling health information. Preparing the patient for their admission and receiving all information to place in charts.
Job Duties
.compiles health information
.reviews charts and ensures all reports and signatures are present
.prepares charts for new admissions
.fills out forms
.prepares reports for specific reports or certificates
.types statistical reports such as daily & monthly census, Medicaid days, admissions, discharges, or length of stay
.Coordinates with other departments concerning health information records procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
.knowledge of medical terminology
.Confidentiality
.knowledge on processor, calculator, and typewriter
.problem-solving skills
.organizational skills
*At least a year of experience preferred or courses taken with medical terminology, record management or typing.
