Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care and support. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor resident well-being, maintain accurate documentation, and work closely with licensed nursing staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Follow established instructions and use appropriate procedures and devices to help strengthen limbs and maintain flexibility.
- Assist nursing staff with routine procedures, including suppositories, enemas, treatments, post-surgical care, and post-mortem care.
- Monitor and report changes in the physical and mental status of members.
- Obtain and accurately record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respirations.
- Collect urine, sputum, and stool specimens as directed.
- Monitor and document intake and output.
- Complete medical records, worksheets, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
- Assist with during meals, including transportation to the dining room, communicating menu choices to dining staff, serving meals, and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain clean, neat, sanitary, safe, and comfortable resident areas, including changing bedding and linens.
- Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations and assist licensed nurses in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Transport to appointments outside the facility as needed.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and other assigned administrative tasks.
Licensure/Education
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Arizona required.
Salary : $26 - $30
