About This Role
As a Restaurant Shift Supervisor (Shift Leader), you'll be the "big cheese" on shift-leading the team and keeping daily restaurant operations running smoothly in our fast-paced pizza shop.
In this Shift Supervisor role, you'll serve customers, support the kitchen team, and coordinate delivery drivers while supervising the shift from start to finish. You'll ensure high standards for food quality and customer service, complete shift checklists, manage tip outs, and assign staff to keep operations efficient.
Successful Shift Leaders are strong communicators who can balance hands-on work with team leadership. You'll also help train new team members, support the rollout of new programs, policies, and menu items, and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked restaurant.
What We're Looking For

- Minimum of 6 months experience in food service is required.
- Past Supervisor or Shift Leader experience required.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift 20–50 lbs.
- Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other restaurant tools.
- Must be 18 (16–17 for Front of House).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
- English language proficiency is needed.
Scheduling and Availability
Flexible schedules! We'll work with you to find a schedule that works for everyone.
Verona will be open daily between 10am-10pm. Shifts are typically scheduled from 9am-4/5pm for lunch and 3/4pm-11pm/12am for dinner.
Evening and weekend availability is required. Part-time (20-30) and full-time (30-40) hours available.
