Estimating & Pre-Construction
- Prepare accurate, timely, and competitive estimates for commercial electrical projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Perform takeoffs, labor projections, and material costing.
- Identify risks, scope gaps, and value-engineering opportunities prior to bid submission.
- Ensure all estimates meet company gross profit requirements.
- Participate in internal bid reviews and pricing strategy discussions.
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for estimating and sales-related customer communication.
- Coordinate closely with operations, project management, and field leadership for smooth project handoff.
- Clearly communicate job scope, assumptions, and expectations internally.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all sales activity, follow-ups, and estimates in company systems.
Leadership & Team Contribution
- Operate with a leadership mindset and strong sense of accountability.
- Support teamwork, collaboration, and company culture.
- Contribute ideas to improve estimating accuracy, sales effectiveness, and internal processes.
- Uphold company standards, safety expectations, and ethical conduct at all times.
Daily & Weekly Task Expectations
Daily Tasks
- Perform outbound sales activity and relationship development.
- Follow up on all open estimates and active sales opportunities.
- Prepare and revise estimates based on customer feedback and negotiations.
- Schedule and attend customer meetings, job walks, and bid reviews.
- Communicate status updates on pending and awarded work to leadership.
- Document all customer interactions and sales activity.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
Weekly Tasks
- Attend and actively participate in the weekly sales meeting.
- Present current pipeline, open estimates, and projected revenue.
- Review aging estimates and establish follow-up action plans.
- Forecast upcoming awards and workload.
- Review personal sales performance and gross profit results.
- Re-engage past customers and inactive accounts.
- Participate in scheduled community, networking, or industry events.

Pay: $70, $95,000.00 per year
