Role Description

The Operations Coordinator is a full-time position based on-site in Great Neck, NY. The role includes managing daily office operations, coordinating scheduling and administrative activities, maintaining organizational records, and assisting in event planning and program execution. The Operations Coordinator will also provide support in vendor communication, budget tracking, and preparing reports for leadership. This position requires outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless workflow within the organization.


Qualifications

  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing office operations, scheduling, and maintaining records.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Experience in organizing and executing events and programs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Financial Coordination: Ability to track budgets, analyze expenses, and prepare financial or operational reports.
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and adapt to changing needs in fast-paced environments.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Nonprofit Experience: Experience in nonprofit organizations or community-based work is a plus.
