Position Summary:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at IAG Performance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our diverse range of equipment, including advanced CNC machinery, to support our production of high-quality automotive parts. We are looking for a proactive, mechanically inclined individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of maintenance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure efficient operations.
-Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment.
-Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
-Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
-Collaborate with external service providers for specialized maintenance and repair as needed.
-Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to maintenance procedures.
-Be available for emergency maintenance actions and address urgent issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Proven experience in a facilities maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
-Hands-on experience with CNC equipment service and maintenance is highly preferred.
-Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with all common hand tools.
-Ability to work independently and tackle a variety of tasks involving different types of manufacturing and facilities equipment.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Commitment to safety standards and experience working in a regulated environment.
-High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical repair, electronics, or a related field is a plus.
