Position Summary
The Aviation Catering Delivery Specialist plays a key front-line role in delivering high-quality meals and supplies to inflight teams, corporate offices, and VIP clients. This position ensures timely, accurate, and professional delivery while maintaining the service standards that Iacofano’s Catering & Events is known for. You’ll be the primary point of contact for many of our partners and FBO teams, providing excellent service with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities, Delivery & Setup
- Safely transport catering orders, food items, and supplies to assigned airport, corporate, and residential locations
- Deliver to inflight, corporate aviation, and private clients
- Follow all delivery protocols including setup, labeling, temperature control, and secure transport
- Confirm accuracy of all orders prior to departure
Client Interaction
- Greet FBO teams, flight crews, and clients with professionalism
- Communicate clearly regarding delivery timing, order details, and any issues
- Maintain a polished appearance and positive demeanor
- Collect POD documentation and report order exceptions promptly
Vehicle & Safety
- Complete daily vehicle inspections using Samsara or approved checklists
- Keep vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Report maintenance needs or incidents immediately
- Refuel and track fuel purchases according to company protocol
Additional Duties
- Perform store or supply runs as needed
- Upload receipts and follow all inventory procedures
- Assist with packing, facility support, and cleanup when not on route
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal proof of insurance
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs; navigate stairs, ramps, and tarmacs
- Smart Phone comfort using routing/mobile apps for directions and digital logs
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Previous hospitality, aviation, or delivery experience a plus
