IAC is a 32-year-old EPC Contractor, Capital Equipment supplier, and OEM, and Parts and Service supplier located in Overland Park, Kansas. As an EPC / Turnkey Industrial Contractor, IAC, in conjunction with our wholly own construction company, Adelphi Construction perform $10 million up to $150 million projects within North America, Latin America, and Mexico. Including the complete electrical design of electrical systems, electrical installation design, and control system design. IAC is experts in air pollution control (APC) systems, pneumatic conveying systems, bulk storage and dry material handling systems, rotary dryers, automated controls, and dry sorbent injection systems.

The Field Service Technical Advisor will be responsible for oversight of field service jobs relating to mechanical and electrical components, conducting equipment inspections, safety compliance, report writing and system troubleshooting various mechanical and electrical systems. The role will interact both internally and externally and the candidate will need to clearly communicate appropriate information to key stake holders.
Primary Responsibilities
· Provide technical and operational direction to field supervision and be a key on-site liaison with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
· Maintain all appropriate safety requirements including MSDS analysis, crew qualifications, and proper PPE required for labor projects.
· Work with approved subcontractors and vendors ensuring safety and proper cost.
· Encourage a team atmosphere, manage site challenges and develop solutions to address issues
· Complete quality control audits to ensure IAC's quality expectations are adhered to
· Coordinate Project Management on lessons learned on executed projects to maximize margin on future projects
· Provide visit report, job recap, or after action review with each job
· Perform other related duties as required
Additional Responsibilities
· Partner with Sales Engineers to obtain necessary information to properly evaluate and define scope for service opportunities
· Team with B Projects to provide installation oversight/services when needed
Requirements
· High School diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
· Ability to travel out of state and work occasional weekends
· Baghouse work experience will be a plus or industrial mechanical and electrical background
· Problem solving and communication skills
· Strong attention to detail required
· Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
