Process Development & Program Management
- Develop and maintain process parameters across all program phases (pre-prototype through service).
- Own BOM creation and updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering changes.
- Track and manage tooling and capital budgets, providing timely updates to leadership.
- Lead equipment installation, certification, and run-off activities; escalate issues proactively.
- Ensure tooling meets safety, ergonomics, and quality standards; oversee tool design reviews and builds.
- Modify equipment/tooling as required to support engineering changes and production improvements.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to integrate PFMEA, Control Plans, and error-proofing into robust manufacturing systems.
- Drive scrap reduction, OEE improvements, and corrective actions through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with APQP documentation standards and customer requirements.
- Develop operator training programs, reference materials, and support resources to prepare teams for launch.
- Ensure successful execution of Run at Rates, PSOs, HVPTs, and related launch milestones.
- Act as central communication point between plant, corporate, and customer stakeholders.
- Support other programs during critical stages or issue resolution.
- Develop optimized cell layouts for material flow and ergonomics.
- Maintain equipment records and databases; track material usage during trials and prototypes.
- Document and update process flows and operator standard work instructions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering related to an automotive industry
- Interior Components/Assembly/Injection Molding preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient PC skills – MS Office, MS Project, and WEB based software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
