Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine faculty member to join our academic team, contributing to the education and development of residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role combines clinical supervision, direct patient care, and academic leadership, including didactic teaching, quality improvement initiatives, and resident advising. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mentoring future physicians and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Key responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient supervision, curriculum development, program administration, and leading quality improvement projects. The position offers a balanced weekly schedule with protected administrative time and minimal call responsibilities. Obstetrics participation is optional, based on candidate interest. Position Highlights Academic Leadership Engage in active teaching and mentorship of Family Medicine residents across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient Responsibilities Supervise and educate residents on the Family Medicine inpatient service, encompassing adult medicine and newborn care (OB optional). Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care through oversight of resident performance during inpatient rotations. Outpatient Responsibilities Provide supervision in continuity and procedure clinics. Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient clinic setting. Quality Improvement Lead 1–2 program-wide quality improvement initiatives annually to enhance clinical outcomes and resident education. Didactic Teaching Present 10–12 lectures annually on core Family Medicine topics as part of the residency curriculum. Resident Advising Serve as a faculty advisor to approximately five residents, supporting their professional development and academic progress. Administrative Duties Participate in program administration, curriculum development, and regular faculty meetings to support continuous program improvement.
