We are looking to hire an Occupational Therapist! As an Occupational Therapist at MercyOne Genesis, you will: Evaluate patients to obtain and interpret data necessary for treatment planning and implementation Develop treatment plans, directs, supervises and treats patients in accordance with treatment plan using treatment modalities Prepare written report of diagnostic findings, intervention techniques used, progress made and follow-up status in a time frame according to policy and procedure Consult and communicate with patient, family and other multi-disciplinary team members and contracted agencies Complete required documentation on patients and maintain other department records in accordance with departmental and health center policies and procedures Delegate and supervise activities of occupational therapy assistants and technicians, to assure efficient use of department resources Schedule: 20 hours per week Day shift Requirements: Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy Iowa State Occupational Therapist license Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Provider-American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer-American Red Cross) prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintains current status Must provide proof of Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training prior to employment or within 6 months of hire and maintain current status per State of Iowa guidelines Colleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!
