Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Join the MercyOne family! We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech! As a Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will: Be responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging exams, CT's, as well as mammography and other designated procedures Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care Provide care appropriate to the age and development of patients of most ages – teenagers through geriatric Schedule: 36 hours a week Monday - Friday Night and weekend call rotation (every 4th weekend) Requirements: Graduation of an AMA Radiologic Technology program Iowa permit to practice Maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Credentials preferred include: Mammography, BDSM certification and CT certification Willing to obtain credentials within a designated time frame as determined by department need Remains current with Continuing Education requirements for designated national certifications Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 3 years MercyOne is proud to be equal opportunity employers.
