Job Summary
Seeking a Loader Operator for efficient and safe transportation of various materials at our Garland aggregate site.
Main Responsibilities
Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety environment
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment
Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist
Participate in pre-shift safety huddles
Perform routine maintenance and various equipment repairs as needed
Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors
Responsible to report to Plant Superintendent or Supervisors of any potential safety hazards
Complete additional tasks as assigned
Education
High School diploma or GED
Skills
Ability to operate equipment efficiently
Ability to communicate with supervisors and peers
Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
Ability to perform tasks as given from supervisors as well as work as part of a team
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Physical Requirements
Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions
Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment
Able to use arms, hands, and fingers
Able to lift and handle objects
