Position summary
The B2B Marketing Specialist will develop, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns with a focus on email marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). The ideal candidate will have experience promoting complex products or services within the construction, architectural, engineering, or industrial markets. This role is vital for driving brand awareness, generating qualified leads for the sales team, and positioning the company as an industry leader. This position requires work on site at our office in Cumming, GA. A hybrid schedule may be available for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
Email marketing
- Create, manage, and execute comprehensive email marketing campaigns, including cold outreach, lead-nurturing drip campaigns, and newsletters.
- Develop a content calendar for email communications, aligning it with broader marketing and sales initiatives.
- Segment email lists based on criteria such as job title, industry, and engagement level to ensure targeted and personalized messaging.
- Design and optimize mobile-friendly email templates, and conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and call-to-action buttons to maximize engagement.
- Analyze email campaign performance using metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, and provide data-driven insights to refine strategies.
Search engine optimization (SEO)
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and website traffic, targeting high-intent keywords relevant to the construction industry.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Optimize website content, including project profiles, case studies, and blog posts, for targeted keywords.
- Monitor daily performance metrics using SEO tools like Google Analytics and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
General marketing and content
- Create compelling, high-quality B2B marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, and press releases, that positions the company as an expert.
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to gather project updates and technical information for use in marketing materials.
- Contribute to broader marketing initiatives as needed, such as managing social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and coordinating events or trade shows.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns, including experience with marketing automation tools.
- Demonstrable experience with SEO techniques and analysis.
- Strong B2B content writing skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and engaging content.
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to marketing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external teams.
- Experience in B2B marketing, specifically within the construction, AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), or related industrial sector preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
