This team member helps oversee youth sports leagues and programs on game days and practices, ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for participants and families. Responsibilities include setting up fields and equipment, assisting with player check-in, supporting coaches, and helping manage game flow and schedules. The role also involves providing on-site customer service, answering parent and participant questions, reinforcing league rules and sportsmanship standards, and assisting with basic administrative tasks such as attendance, score reporting (where applicable), and end-of-day breakdown. The Sports Coordinator collaborates closely with local leadership and coaching staff to deliver a consistent, high-quality i9 Sports Experience.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication with children, families, coaches, and colleagues.
- Background or interest in Physical Education and youth sports, with the ability to demonstrate and reinforce basic sports skills and safety principles.
- Customer Service and interpersonal skills to support families, handle questions or concerns, and represent the i9 Sports brand positively on-site.
- Organization skills to manage schedules, equipment, field setup, and game-day logistics efficiently.
- Knowledge of Football (especially flag football) rules and fundamentals; familiarity with additional sports offered by i9 Sports is a plus.
- Ability to work weekends and peak program hours, and to be active on fields or courts for extended periods.
- Experience working with children or in youth programs, camps, coaching, or recreation is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in sports management, education, recreation, or related fields is beneficial.
- Commitment to a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused environment; ability to pass any required background checks.
