Job Summary
The After School Sports Coordinator is responsible for delivering a great after school program experience in partnership with local school districts. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with students, school district employees and parents while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Instructing, teaching, and positively influencing students in grades K through 5 is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and scrimmages among all age groups and skill levels.
Sourcing applicants for the following Sports
Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Baseball. The ideal candidate enjoys coaching, is comfortable taking initiative & is comfortable in multiple sports.
Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- Supervise the overall operation of designated sports
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Shifts Available
- Mondays - 3:30p to 6:30p
- Tuesdays - 3:30p to 6:30p
- Ability to work additional League Shifts on Saturdays
- Potential to add additional programming
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work Monday & Tuesday 3:30p to 6:30p
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
