What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Sports Official (Referee) Basketball or Flag Football position at i9 Sports Nashville North?
As a Youth Sports Official (referee) you will support a learning environment for the athletes, parents and coaches while enforcing the rules. You are considered an impartial on-field coach and an advocate for the programs.
i9 Sports Nashville North is looking for high energy, fun, and reliable people to support the development of youth athletes in various sports, camps and clinics. i9 Sports provides age appropriate sports instruction for children ages 4-14. Some of the sports include Soccer, Flag Football T-ball/Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball & Lacrosse.
Experience playing the sport is not required.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the game is required
- Enthusiastic about sports and working with young athletes

- An effective communicator
- Ideal candidates will have experience working with kids
Requirements:
-Training orientation is required and there is an expectation that officials understand the rulebooks and expectation of i9 Sports.
-This is a part time position that requires weekend and some evening work.
-Games are typically on Saturdays or Sundays (mornings and afternoons)
-All applicants are subject to a National Criminal Background check and will be required to become first aid certified.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay: Up to $15.00- 20.00 per hour depending on experience
