What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Sports Instructor--Soccer, Baseball position at i9 Sports Nashville North?
As a Youth Sports Instuctor you will support the learning environment for youth athletes. This includes assisting with the coordination of on-site activities and logistics, providing instruction to athletes, overseeing practices and games to ensure i9 Sports expectations are being met.
i9 Sports Nashville North is looking for high energy, fun, and reliable people to support the development of youth athletes in various sports, camps and clinics. i9 Sports provides age appropriate sports instruction for children ages 4-14. Some of the sports include Soccer, Flag Football T-ball/Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball & Lacrosse.
Experience playing the sport is not required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of sports is preferred
Enthusiastic about sports and working with young athletes
Punctual and reliable
Patient and willing to teach athletes and coaches
Professional and customer service driven
Fun and energetic
An effective communicator
Ideal candidates will have experience working with kids
Games are typically on Saturdays or Sundays (mornings and afternoons)
Requirements:
-Training orientation is required and there is an expectation that officials understand the rulebooks and expectation of i9 Sports.
-This is a part time position that requires weekend and some evening work.
-All applicants are subject to a National Criminal Background check and will be required to become first aid certified.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
