What are the responsibilities and job description for the i9 Sports: T-Ball Instructor position at i9 Sports: Naperville?
Do you enjoy working with young kids and bringing energy to the field? We’re looking for enthusiastic instructors to help run our T-Ball program for ages 3–6. This is a fun, fast-paced role where your main goal is simple: help kids fall in love with sports.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead fun, structured drills that teach basic baseball skills
- Keep kids engaged, active, and smiling (this is HUGE)
- Set up and manage short scrimmage games
- Create a positive, encouraging environment for every player
- Communicate with parents and support volunteer coaches
What We’re Looking For:
- High energy and great with young kids (non-negotiable)
- Clear communicator—kids parents
- Reliable and organized
- Positive, patient, and encouraging attitude
- Able to take initiative and run a field independently
Bonus (Not Required):
- Coaching or playing experience in baseball/softball
- Experience working with kids (camps, daycare, teaching, etc.)
Schedule:
- Saturdays only: Must be available all Saturdays from July 18th through August 22nd
- Typical shift: ~3–5 hours between morning and early afternoon
