What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volleyball Coach/Instructor position at i9 Sports - Greater Columbus, GA?
We are looking for energetic and dependable Volleyball Coaches/Instructors to join our Columbus team. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead players in weekend practices and game play while delivering the i9 Sports Experience—a positive, safe, and fun sports environment where kids build skills and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Lead age-appropriate practice sessions with a focus on fundamentals, skill-building, and fun
- Teach and model core values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect
- Communicate clearly with players and families about schedules, expectations, and updates
- Create a safe, encouraging environment that builds athlete confidence
- Deliver a great customer experience to parents and players every week
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Prior volleyball coaching, playing, or teaching experience (youth experience a plus)
- Reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
- Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
- Availability on weekends (~6weeks - primarily Saturdays)
