Position:            Recruiter

i-80 Gold is seeking a results driven recruiter to join our rapidly growing company.  The recruiter sources, screens and hires qualified talent for mine sites, and corporate offices.  This role partners with hiring managers to build strong pipelines for specialized high-demand positions.

Location:           Lone Tree Mine, 29100 Lone Tree Mine Rd, Valmy, NV 89438

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, outline qualifications, and develop and maintain accurate job descriptions. 
• Build creative strategies to find active and passive candidates in competitive labor markets using job boards, social media, and networking events.
• Review resumes via applicant tracking systems (ATS), conduct initial phone screens, and evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
• Leverage applicant tracking system (ATS) metrics to improve hiring speed and quality.
• Schedule interviews, gather feedback from hiring teams, and keep communication flowing smoothly between all parties.
• Maintain long-term relationships with past applicants and prospective talent for future organizational needs.
• Promote the company's values, work culture, Compensation packages, and reputation to attract top-tier professionals.
• Understanding shifting rotations to explain complex scheduling and shift differentials.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR 3-4 years of recruitment experience.
• Previous experience in mining or construction preferred.
• Familiarity with search tools and local job boards, with a readiness to learn mining-specific platforms.
• Ability to manage high-volume scheduling and track candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Attention to detail required to run comprehensive background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and physical fitness-for-duty verifications required for mine site access and understanding of MSHA trainings.
• Willingness to travel to mine sites, career fairs, or community hire events.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial mining environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
