Key Responsibilities
- Perform examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and general dental procedures.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care within the scope of licensure.
- Review medical and dental histories and maintain accurate, timely patient records.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, risks, and aftercare instructions clearly to patients.
- Deliver care that follows current clinical standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with dental laboratory and clinical team members to support accurate, well-fitting restorations and prosthetic treatments.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and arrange appropriate follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment.
- Participate in team communication, continuing education, and quality-improvement activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an accredited program.
- Current authorization to practice dentistry in the applicable jurisdiction.
