In this role, you will be more than just a hygienist—you will act as a vital oral health educator, helping our patients achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles.What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Assess & Diagnose: Evaluate overall health status, review medications, perform oral cancer screenings, and complete detailed periodontal and dental charting.
- Diagnostics: Expose, process, and interpret clinical dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Treatment: Remove biofilm, plaque, and calculus (both above and below the gumline) using precision dental instruments.
- Prevention: Apply caries-preventive agents like sealants and fluorides.
- Patient Education: Teach patients proper home-care techniques, counsel on tobacco cessation, and educate on the vital link between nutrition, oral health, and systemic health.
- Continuity of Care: Ensure patients understand their treatment progress and leave with their next continuing care appointment booked.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Current, active RDH license (National and/or State/Provincial).
- Up-to-date certifications and licenses to practice.
- A genuine passion for patient education and phenomenal communication skills!
Salary : $45 - $58
