Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PLM Solutions Consultant / Architect to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for TEL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining the PLM roadmap, assessing the current Windchill environment, and driving the transition to Teamcenter while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop a PLM roadmap aligned with TEL’s IT strategy and overall business objectives.
- Assess the current PLM landscape (Windchill) and lead planning and deployment of Teamcenter.
- Design and oversee integration strategies between PLM and:
- SAP / ERP systems
- Manufacturing systems
- Engineering tools
- Legacy platforms (including Fujitsu systems)
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices for PLM implementation, migration, and optimization.
- Lead and support PLM data migration and system integration activities.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure smooth cross-system integration.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance PLM efficiency and scalability.
- Act as a trusted advisor on PLM architecture, governance, and future-state design.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in PLM systems, specifically Windchill and Teamcenter.
- Proven experience defining and executing PLM strategy and roadmaps for large or complex organizations.
- Solid experience with PLM integrations involving:
- SAP / ERP
- Manufacturing execution systems
- Engineering and design systems
- Experience with legacy system migration and integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in manufacturing or high-tech environments.
- Prior consulting or solution architecture background.
- Exposure to global PLM rollouts or enterprise-scale migrations.
