Position Overview
We are looking for an Embedded Tester / Software Integration Test Engineer with hands-on experience in embedded software testing for medical devices. This is a pure testing role—no design or development responsibilities. The candidate must have strong exposure to C/C based embedded systems, RTOS/non-RTOS environments, and medical device testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand embedded software designs written in C (Non-RTOS & RTOS environments) for safety-critical handheld medical devices
- Understand GUI designs developed in C for RTOS-based embedded systems
- Perform requirements analysis, identify gaps, and define test scenarios and combinations
- Develop Software Integration Test Plans, Test Protocols, and Test Cases based on requirements, design documents, and source code
- Execute integration and system-level testing for battery-operated embedded medical devices
- Perform software regression analysis (C & C ) with understanding of custom hardware designs
- Identify and work with appropriate test hardware and test equipment
- Participate in requirements, design, and code review meetings and provide meaningful feedback
- Ensure compliance with medical device software development and testing processes (GDP, SDLC, STLC)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Embedded Systems Testing
- Proficiency in C and C
- Experience with RTOS and Non-RTOS environments
- Solid understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Strong knowledge of testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with medical device testing (highly preferred)
- Knowledge of technical documentation & Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Excellent communication skills
