Position Overview:
The RMA/MRB Coordinator position oversees the return and review of non conforming materials, ensuring compliance and timely resolution across departments.
Job Duties:
- Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities to assess, analyze, and disposition non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Facilitate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, including coordination of returns, tracking, and resolution of customer complaints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes of material non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of MRB and RMA activities, ensuring documentation complies with regulatory and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with quality assurance, production, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular reviews of MRB and RMA processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Provide training and guidance to personnel involved in MRB and RMA processes to ensure consistent and effective execution.
- Generate reports and metrics related to MRB and RMA activities, presenting findings to management for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to materials and returns, incorporating changes into the organization's processes.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong understanding of MRB and RMA processes, including root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports for management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and software used in materials and quality management.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in materials management, quality control, or a related field.
- Certifications in quality management or related areas are a plus.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Requires complex oral communication skills, visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Must be available for overtime work
- Must be able to stand for periods up to four hours
- Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds, up to 35 pounds occasionally, and heavier weights with assistance.
- May work in a clean room environment and wear clean room attire.
