About the Role
The Medical Communications Associate supports the development and execution of scientific communication initiatives for i2Vision’s pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and clients to ensure the timely delivery of accurate, compliant, and impactful medical content.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and manage logistics for advisory boards, Delphi panels, and other scientific meetings.
· Support the planning, tracking, and execution of medical publication deliverables, including abstracts, posters, slide decks, and manuscripts.
· Partner with cross-functional teams (Medical, Scientific, Creative, and Client Services) to ensure alignment and accuracy across all materials.
· Manage timelines, deliverables, and client communications related to publication planning and scientific content development.
· Contribute to the preparation and submission of materials for medical journals and ensure adherence to publication guidelines.
· Assist with referencing, data verification, and compliance review according to AMA and GPP standards.
· Track project status and maintain organized records for internal and client-facing reporting.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a life sciences discipline preferred.
· 2 years of experience in medical communications, medical affairs, or scientific publishing.
· Strong project coordination skills with demonstrated experience managing ad boards, Delphi panels, or journal submissions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, reference management tools
