What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at i2M?
Type: Full-time, in person
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, M-F
Pay: $18.00 per hour plus quarterly bonus
What you will be responsible for
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance/safety needs and report issues promptly.
- Assist in the installation of new building or facility features as needed.
- Maintain equipment used for grounds maintenance in good working order.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Required qualifications
- Familiarity with operating hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a production environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
