If you can bring enthusiasm and drive to Mendix implementation, make the most complex apps seem simple to our customers, and have 5 or more years of experience managing the development of solutions for customers, we can offer you a salary of $105,000 to $130,000 and an exceptional benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(K), PTO and sick time.

Key Responsibilities

As a results-focused Self Starter, the Mendix Solutions Architect is responsible for hands-on project management across multiple business applications and integrations in various states of the Software Development Life Cycle. The ideal candidate would possess 5 or more years of experience managing projects in the software industry. They will work closely with business customers and the internal team.

Technical Skills:

·       Mendix development experience

·       Mendix Intermediate Developer Certification (or higher): required

·       System thinker - knows how to organize data and workflow

·       Problem solver - can look at problems multiple ways

·       Experienced with - Data / Workflow Analysis

Communication Skills:

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Able to ask leading and great questions.

·       Able to negotiate with clients

Experience:

·       Negotiation: 3 years (Preferred)

·       Time Management: 3 years (Preferred)

·       Mendix Experience: 3 years (Preferred)

·       Mendix Intermediate Developer Certification (or higher): required

Key Qualifications:

·       5 years of experience in the software industry

·       Experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, Python or Cloud-native development

·       Well versed in complex application architecture, comparing and contrasting technologies against middleware, BPM, SOA, 4GL, etc.

·       Good understanding of the aPaaS/PaaS and cloud market space

·       Self-driven, independent, and accountable

·       Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity and an intense desire to succeed

·       Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·       Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with both business and development teams

·       Ability to vet business and technical requirements

·       Willing to learn from and freely share knowledge with others, and comfortable participating in cross-functional teams

·       Able to work independently or on a team, and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·       Natural problem solver with a strong awareness of risk

·       Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge
