We are seeking a Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. Additionally you will help customers place orders and answer any questions they have.
Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods locally
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Follow specific routes and time schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial
- Ability to load and unload cargo safely
