What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Trades Helper position at I-TECH Resources, Inc.?
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Mechanic Helper on a short-term contract assignment. In this role, you’ll support mechanics working on military vehicles by assisting with maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist mechanics with vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Help with painting, assembling parts, and securing cargo
- Perform basic tasks such as grinding, drilling, masking, and stenciling
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and assist with proper handling of materials
- Learn new skills and support the team with various tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. Citizen
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in different environments (heights, enclosed areas)
- Comfortable wearing a respirator when required
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
Work Hours: 6:00AM– 2:30PM Eastern.
Rate: $27.19/hr
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $27.19 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
