About the Role
The Service Manager leads the Service Department by driving performance, growing service revenue, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This position plays a key role in Fixed Operations and partners closely with leadership to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the truck service department
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing service team
- Drive service revenue, efficiency, and profitability
- Ensure excellent customer service and communication
- Monitor KPIs including labor efficiency, throughput, and margin
- Oversee work orders, quoting, and service invoicing
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Required Experience & Skills
- Prior experience as a Service Manager or Fixed Operations leader
- Strong knowledge of truck or diesel service operations
- Leadership, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to manage P&L, budgets, and operational metrics
- Mechanical understanding of truck repair and service processes
- Experience with 5S / Lean principles preferred
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Truck shop service management experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
