Construction Manager – Pharmaceutical Construction Program
On-site – Indiana – 12-Month Contract – Full-Time (40 hrs/week OT with approval)
Are you a senior construction professional ready to lead delivery on a high-profile pharmaceutical project? We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to take ownership of site execution, contractor coordination, and overall construction delivery across a complex, highly regulated facility.
This is a key site leadership role where your ability to manage multi-discipline teams, drive safe and high-quality execution, and lead the project through completion and turnover will be critical to success.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the on-site Construction Manager responsible for overall field delivery across all disciplines
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, supervisors, and discipline leads across CSA, MEP, and utilities scopes
- Plan, sequence, and manage construction activities in alignment with the integrated project schedule and turnover milestones
- Drive safe, compliant, and high-quality execution across all work fronts
- Oversee project progress, productivity, and manpower to maintain schedule and budget commitments
- Lead completion and turnover activities including inspections, punch management, and handover readiness
- Coordinate closely with design, QA/QC, commissioning, and client teams to ensure seamless delivery and system integration
- Conduct regular site walks to monitor safety, quality, and progress
- Identify and resolve construction issues, clashes, and risks in a timely and proactive manner
- Ensure compliance with all project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate reporting including daily logs, progress updates, and turnover documentation
- Support client walkdowns, audits, and final handover processes
What You Bring
- 10 years of experience in construction management on large-scale projects
- Proven track record in a Construction Manager or senior site leadership role
- Strong experience managing multi-discipline construction (CSA, mechanical, electrical, piping)
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects through completion, commissioning, and turnover phases
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and project controls
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset
- Experience enforcing safety, quality, and productivity standards on complex job site
Preferred Experience
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated project experience
- Familiarity with GMP environments and commissioning/qualification (CQV) processes
- Experience delivering large, fast-paced, multi-discipline construction programs
- Background working in environments requiring phased turnover and strict quality standards
