What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Facilitator position at I-Mobile Health Mission?
Company Description
I-Mobile Health Mission, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit focused on improving mental health understanding and access through education, prevention, and connection. Our work reaches across schools, families, and organizations to create supportive environments where people can learn, heal, and grow together.
We believe mental health is shaped by relationships, systems, and opportunity—not just by individual circumstances. Our programs invite participants to explore how emotional well-being, communication, and community care work together. Through education that is practical, inclusive, and culturally responsive, we aim to strengthen the places where people live, learn, and work.
Role Description
Facilitators will co-lead weekly sessions alongside another professional, guiding families through structured lessons, reflection, and group activities. The role is ideal for clinicians, social workers, or educators who want to make a meaningful difference through preventive, skills-based mental health education.
A mandatory facilitator orientation will be held on November 1, 2025. Materials and support are provided in advance. Facilitators who complete training may be invited to join future SCSD cohorts as the program continues to grow.

- Create a supportive, inclusive environment that values every participant’s experience
- Guide group learning and activities that build communication, regulation, and coping skills
- Collaborate with co-facilitators and I-Mobile staff to ensure consistent program delivery
- Record attendance and provide brief session feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed or certified mental health clinician, social worker, school counselor, or related professional (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, etc.)
- Experience working with youth and families in educational, community, or behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with trauma-sensitive, DBT, or strength-based practices (helpful but not required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
