Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Manager – IT with strong expertise in managing and supporting enterprise business applications within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ERP systems, SAP applications, manufacturing systems, vendor management, application support, and leading IT teams while ensuring smooth business operations and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support enterprise business applications across multiple business units.
- Lead the local application support team and collaborate with global IT teams.
- Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, upgrades, and support.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and global IT standards.
- Coordinate application changes, enhancements, and business projects.
- Provide Tier 2 application support and troubleshoot complex business system issues.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, and end-user training.
- Evaluate and recommend new business applications and system improvements.
- Work closely with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience supporting business applications in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with SAP ERP or other enterprise ERP systems.
- Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of software development, databases, system integration, and business application support.
- Experience managing application support teams and vendors.
- Strong project management and change management experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel within the US and Canada as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SAP Business Objects, and Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Global BI and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong background in IT governance, security compliance, and business process optimization.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide application implementations and upgrades.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
