Job description
- Measuring, cutting and fitting materials
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Create quality welds according to blueprints
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structure to ensure proper welds
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- All welders must have their own welding hood and steel toe shoes. Welding sleeves and jackets are provided.
Required Skills
- Welding experience required
- All welders must pass a skills assessment
- Mig and tig experience
- Attention to detail
