IT Security SME / TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Location: Hauppauge, NY 11788
Contract (500 Hours)
Job Details:
- Minimum/General Experience: Ten (10) years of enterprise experience; multiple industry and/or vendor certifications.
- Functional Responsibility: Design and implementation of specialized solutions, particularly security or data center technologies.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science. Other education and/or experience can be substituted.
- Security SME/Technical Specialist in Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying relevant Suffolk County Cybersecurity Laws and Regulations
- Creating, Updating Cybersecurity Policy and Standards based on NIST framework
- Defining Risk-Based Compliance Audit process against established Cybersecurity Policies and Standards.
- Establishment of Cybersecurity Risk Tracking, Risk Mitigation, and Risk exception processes.
