We are looking for dynamic sales associates with a passion for customer service! Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions.
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service and conveying our passion for cooking by providing in-depth product knowledge about high quality cookware and gifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of all store roles, including but not limited to Service, Visual Presentation, and Stockroom
- Interested in fostering a deep understanding of our product lines and passionately sharing that with our clients
- Develop positive relationships with clients and teammates
- Able to work in a fast paced and energetic environment
- Comfortable with basic technology: point of sale software, email, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience creating and maintaining visually appealing merchandise displays a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with locating merchandise, special orders, gift wrap, gift registry
- Develop strong product knowledge across all categories
- Efficiently and accurately perform register transactions: sales, returns, and exchanges
- Straighten, clean and help maintain stockroom as needed.
- Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
- Assist with visual merchandising and displays
Physical Requirements:
- Available to work store schedule, as needed, including weekends, from 24 to 32 hours per week from 9:45AM – 6:30PM
- Standing for extended periods of time and able to safely lift boxes up to 30 pounds
