What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Materials Testing Technician position at I.K. Hofmann USA, Inc.?
A client of I.K. Hofmanns is looking to bring on a Construction Materials Testing/Inspection Technician. This person will be responsible for testing the quality of concrete and more construction materials to guarantee strength and reliability. If you are ok with driving around the surrounding area and improving and guaranteeing the safety of construction projects, this would be the job to you. Company truck and gas card will be provided.
Requirements:
- 2 years in CMT preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication — we like people who speak and write clearly.
- A professional, respectful attitude with teammates, clients, and contractors.
- ACI Certification for Concrete and/or Earthworks — a big plus.
- ACI is highly desired, but not a deal-breaker- we will provide access to certifications.
- Clean driving record.
Any ICC certification is a huge plus!
